Divorce advice

Wondered if anyone had any advice on here as I’m really struggling to get anywhere. Tried to put as straight forward as possibly below. I know this isn’t an agony aunt column but the amount of other shit that gets posted up I thought fuck it.....
. Got married in 2017 in Mexico
. Split up with the wife in June 2019
. We are relatively amicable but she claims to have lost the marriage certificate. From that I can find by looking online, we didn’t register the marriage in this country, but neither of us can remember.
.Getting pressure from current partner to get the divorce sorted, not particularly because she wants to get married but just because she wants my ex a thing of the past. I think that’s understandable.
I’ve contacted the hotel we got married in, they suggested contacting the Mexican embassy, but I keep hitting a wall (not trump’s) Does anyone have any experience with anything similar?

I'm assuming you've only been with the new bird a year or less.
She should wind her fucking neck in is how I'd be approaching this. Find the little box where she's hiding your balls son.

This thread makes me feel better about myself. I posted a divorce thread a few years ago but at least I knew where the certificate was.

I'd think seriously about your future with the new doris. If she's giving you grief over the ex then she probably feels a bit threatened by her. This wont go away on the back of a divorce. Good luck anyway.

My only advice on divorce (from experience) is do your best with your ex to not get lawyers involved. If it really amicable then that won't be an issue, won't get messy and be expensive.
It is a win/win from a sad situation.
